Legal translations

Legal translations are translations of texts from the legal field. This includes the translation of legal documents, such as contracts, legal texts, court decisions or expert opinions.

When it comes to legal translations, it is particularly important that the translation is precise and accurate, as every single phrase and nuance counts. In addition, translations often have to take into account the specific legal jargon of the country or legal system in question.

Legal translations typically involve translating a variety of documents, including:

Contracts: These include commercial contracts, rental agreements, employment contracts, marriage contracts, etc.

  1. Judgments and court decisions: This includes court judgments, arbitral awards and procedural documents.
  2. Legal texts: These include national and international laws, regulations, statutes, constitutions, etc.
  3. Notarial documents: These include documents such as powers of attorney, certifications, opening of wills, etc.
  4. Legal correspondence: This includes letters, emails and other correspondence from lawyers, notaries, courts, etc.
  5. Financial and tax documents: These include balance sheets, annual financial statements, tax returns, compliance documents, etc.
  6. Transcripts of hearings: If the hearing is either in court or out of court, transcripts will also be translated.

Business translations

Economic translations are translations of texts, documents or content related to economic topics.

These may include, for example, annual reports, financial reports, contracts, marketing materials, websites or corporate communications.

Business translations require an understanding of financial and economic concepts, technical terminology, and the cultural and legal differences between the target languages. It is important that the translation accurately and precisely conveys both the content and nuances of the original message to avoid misunderstandings and convey the message effectively.

Such translations are often required by companies, financial institutions, international organizations, government agencies, consulting firms and other commercially oriented institutions or professionals to make their information and communications available in different languages and to operate globally.

Interpreting

Interpreting is the process of orally translating language in real time.

An interpreter listens to a person speaking in one language and translates what is said simultaneously or consecutively into another language for the audience or recipient.

Interpreters are often used in various fields such as international conferences,

I offer two forms of interpreting:

1. Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting is a form

of interpreting, in which the spoken word

almost simultaneously into another language. It is often used at conferences, international meetings or events where multiple languages are used.

Simultaneous interpreting requires a quick grasp of the subject, a good command of both languages and the ability to interpret the text immediately and reproduce it fluently. It is a demanding job that requires a high level of concentration and excellent linguistic skills.

2. Negotiation interpreting

Negotiation interpreting is particularly interesting for companies.

Here I translate the spoken content verbally and in real time into the target language so that all participants in the negotiation have the opportunity to understand and communicate with each other.

Liaison interpreting can be used in a variety of situations and areas, such as international contract negotiations, political discussions or court proceedings.

Liaison interpreting is the oral transmission of language used in negotiations to enable dialogue between parties speaking different languages, or medical consultations to overcome the language barrier and enable effective communication.

Please feel free to contact me about the different interpreting services so that together we can find the right offer for you.
